British Royal Family / Monarchy Interest: A signed photographic Christmas card, depicting HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince Harry, with printed message “Wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year’, signed by Charles (now King Charles III) With comical pose showering the princes appearing from large olive jars.
Provenance: During the 1970s, several barns in Doughton on Charles’ Highgrove Estate were converted into workshops. Our current vendors’ aunt and uncle were the original tenants and stayed for many years, their great aunt was an artist and embroiderer and great uncle a carpenter and woodcarver. Their shop was opened by Prince Charles and Princess Diana and they remained in frequent contact with both.
