Community & Charities
For both Philip & Joseph, it is a real privilege and perk of the role to be able to support numerous charities each year as auctioneers in charity auctions and gala dinners, with each partner in the firm invited to attend over a dozen such events every year – with recent local events to include The Square Food Foundation’s fabulous charity auction debut hosted at the wonderful Yeogh Valley headquarters in Bristol, The Country Food Trust’s first annual cup day at Ozleworth park, to events further afield to include last year’s ‘Fire & Ice Ball’ held by Hope & Homes For Children in Derby, where a remarkable £110,000 was raised in just 12 auction lots for this incredibly deserving cause.
Alongside charity auctions, both Philip & Joseph provide numerous after dinner talks for charities and community groups throughout Gloucestershire and further afield each year.
We are always delighted to give our time whenever possible to support the work of charities as they raise much needed funds for important work and causes throughout our community.
We also routinely collect donations in exchange for valuations at our offsite valuation days which are held in community spaces throughout the wider south west of England.
If you are hosting a charity event and would like to discuss our providing auctioneering services / planning advice, then please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you and to be of help if possible.
