Manner of, or possibly designed by William Burgess - A large country house size late Victorian cast iron fire basket and combined dogs with well defined dragon / hound head finials, incised geometric and further detail, raised on shaped paw feet 75 cm in height x 146 cm (full width) x 73 cm (full depth) Provenance - purchased by the vendor at an auction in Cardiff dismantled (in pieces), professionally sympathetically put back together (believed by repute to have originally come from Cardiff castle)
