Attributed to Antal Berkes (Hungarian 1874-1937) - Busy winter cityscape with figures, horse drawn carriage etc in the early 20th century manner, oil on board? probably with over painted finish, with signature bottom left, 48 x 70cm approx in wide carved black frame with scrolling detail and gilt slip
The backing (hardboard) is simply there to hold the work in place - we have texture and odd crack to paintwork
