An extensive and varied collection of 78s, many in their original presentation boxes, largely from the Victor Talking Machine Company, established 1901, famous for the His Master's Voice trademark, pioneers in recording history.
Early single sided examples include: Lucy Isabelle Marsh, Stabat Mater (1912) and John McCormack, In a Persian Garden (1914)
Early "pop" examples include: The Trix Sisters, I'm Knee deep in Daisies (1926) and Stuart Robertson, The Laird O' Cockpen (1930) together with Harry Belafonte, Mary's Boy Child (1957)
Classical examples include: Sir Landon Ronald conducting the Royal Albert Hall Orchestra, Beethoven's 5th Symphony in C Minor (1927, 3 shellac discs) Yehudi Menuhin, Capricciosa (1928) Gloria Swanson, Serenade (1929) and Beniamin Gigli, Tosca / Rigoletto (1934)
