German bisque shoulder head doll by Kestner, mould 154, with jointed kid body, bisque lower arms and composition lower legs. Doll has closing brown eyes, painted lower lashes, open mouth with 4 teeth, and is dressed in period lace trimmed white dress and petticoat. Height 23"/ 58cm. Impressed marks '11 Dep 154'
Bisque shoulder head in good condition with no visible cracks or chips. Crown rim not examined as hair is firmly stuck down. Chip to fingers on left hand. Chip to right eyelid. No upper eyelashes.
