An 18th century velvet and brass mounted casket containing three cut glass scent bottles
By family repute, believed to have been originally owned by the celebrated Scottish poet Robert ‘Rabbie’ Burns (1759 - 1796) with hand-written reference to the previous ownership of this piece.
All three bottles have some small chips, the cap in one bottle is dented, all of the caps screw on and off easily. The box is distressed hinge broken, locking pin bent.
