Second edition of Holland House by Princess Marie Liechtenstein (2 volumes, 1874) published by Macmillan and Co, London. Blue cloth bindings with gilt embellishment decoration, detailing the history and art collection of Holland House in Kensington, London (formerly Cope Castle) from its first alluded reference in The Doomsday Book to the late Victorian era. Illustrated with numerous engravings and photographs by Jeens and De La Motte. Together with a mixed library of novels from the 19th and 20th centuries, mostly later editions, to include Scott's Legend of Montrose (1830) and Peter Pan, Ivanhoe, Vanity Fair, Rebecca and Opera Stories by Filson Young (1912) (20+)
