Early bisque socket head character baby boy doll by Kestner, with kid body and kid upper legs, jointed knees and shoulders and composition lower legs. With fixed blue eyes and painted features, height 23cm. Impressed mark 142 to head and stamped D.R.G.M 442910 on back of body
Bisque head is in good condition with no obvious damage or restoration. Not viewed under ultra violet light. Kid body is intact with no tears, and is firm. Head sits a little loosely in its socket. Lower parts of right arm is a slightly different colour to left side, possibly been replaced. See photos
