Attributed to the Fakeye group, a large Yoruba / Nigerian carved figural hardwood stool of cylindrical form, hewn from a single section of timber, the circular top supported by four carved figures, with further chip-carved detail, 48cm high, 35cm diameter, signed to underside ‘ODEKUNLE OYO’
Purchased by parents of current vendor while living in Ibadan, Nigeria in the 1970s.
