A pair of Chinese export blue and white porcelain lidded vases (with associated hardwood stands), decorated with vignettes detailing figures receiving tuition, with reign marks to underside, 20 cm high together with a blanc de chine figure of Guanyin, 56 cm high and a Sancai glazed Temple Lion figure, 21 cm high (6)
Both blue and white vases have later plaster moulding inside rim to secure cover.
One vase has a crack through top of cover with a chip to finial.
The other vase has a large (approx 25 mm) wide chip to cover, no other visible damage or restoration.
Guanying has adhesive residue where right hand and head have both been restored. Cracks visible on both areas as well as crazing around the base.
Sancai lion has areas of restored cracking around the back of the neck and mouth as well as loss - see photos.
All pieces has some damage or repair. No damage to note on one prunus vase (excluding cover).
