A rare 1950's advertising doll for 'Cherubs for Children', with a chubby ceramic cherub tugging socks on, sitting on a wooden plinth
Painted surface is crazed throughout and rubbed away in places. Right arm has been detached and repaired at some point, re-fixed at shoulder. There is slight movement at the junction where the fingers of right hand meet the sock with a small gap- see condition report photos. Facial features all intact, no obvious chips. Canvas wings both present. Figure is securely fixed to base.
