Two 19th century Parian style bread plates by WH Goss, decorated in Gothic script with armorial detail - Manners Maketh Man and with Thankfulness Eat Thy Bread
The plate with the cross keys has five chips to the back edge of the rim, not visible when looking straight at it.
The other plate is in a similar condition with four back edge chips.
