Pair of Regency mahogany hall chairs with deeply carved shell and scroll detail raised on sabre forelegs
Old damage with glue repairs to shell back appears a clean break, old spliced repair to seat rail and small metal strengthening strap, both have stains to seat and woodworm to internal seat rails. Privately owned vendor believes they were bought from house sale 40 or 50 years ago.
