Oriental vintage kimono gown made of patterned black silk embroidered with goldwork characters and lined in blue silk. Neckline and cuffs are bordered with a contrasting embroidered fabric with blue ground, possibly re-used from an older 19th century garment. Length 129cm
Splits in silk on both sleeves at cuffs in both the black and the blue ground fabrics. No obvious fading to main body of black silk. No bad odours. Some stains to lining. Viewing in person recommended.
