£190
A pair of 18th century Plymouth porcelain figures, male and female musicians, he playing a pipe and tabor, she a lute, raised on leafy scrolled bases, c.1770, 14cm high
The boy figure has a crack to the base. The brim of the girls hat is nibbled. Please see further images, having carefully inspected the pieces under a microscope we cannot find any obvious faults, the female's arm at the back of the instrument has a slightly different colour but does not appear to be restored, the base of the boy figure has an internal hairline crack only visible from the inside, we think therefore a firing crack.
