As you all know we have not had the opportunity to sell anything in the last few months, but, the phone has kept on ringing.

We were called to a modest property in a rural location near Bristol to appraise a modest selection of model and diecast railway. These appointments aren't uncommon with model railway collecting still a strong hobby (70s Glam Rock icon Rod Stewart has a vast collection). They usually consist of a few tired carriages, some random track pieces all for different gauges, if we're lucky there could be an original box and even luckier the train that should go in it.

No two days are the same in our industry, it would be boring if they were and this day was no different as greeting us were mountains of trains in every room. Boxed Hornby, Bachmann, Lima, Wenn, Mainline, Walther etc

So many that later in the year we are having a specialist toy and train sale with further entries now invited
